Terms of Service
These terms set out the basis on which DEISTORM sells to you. They're written to be read, not to be hidden behind. Placing an order means you accept them.

1. Who we are
This website is operated by DEISTORM ("we", "us", "our"), based in Edinburgh, United Kingdom. You can reach us at SUPPORT@DEISTORM.COM or through our contact page.
2. Using this site
You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to place an order. You agree to provide accurate account and delivery information and to keep your account credentials secure.
You may not use this site to transmit malicious code, attempt unauthorised access, scrape content systematically, resell our products as an authorised dealer without written agreement, or breach any applicable law.
3. Orders and acceptance
Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we send you a dispatch confirmation email — an order confirmation alone does not create one.
We may decline or cancel an order where the item is out of stock, where a price or description error has occurred, where payment cannot be authorised, or where we suspect fraud or breach of these terms. If we cancel after payment, we refund you in full without delay.
4. Pricing and payment
All prices are shown in Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include UK VAT where applicable. Delivery costs are added at checkout and shown before you pay.
We take reasonable care to price accurately, but errors occur. Where an item is listed at an obviously incorrect price, we are not obliged to supply at that price; we will contact you to confirm or cancel before dispatching.
Payment is taken at checkout via our payment providers. We do not store your full card details.
5. Products and descriptions
We describe our products as accurately as we can. Photography, colour reproduction and packaging may vary slightly from the item you receive, and we may improve specifications over time without notice.
Published attenuation figures (such as SNR and NRR ratings) are measured under standardised laboratory conditions in accordance with the relevant testing standards. Real-world performance depends heavily on correct fit and use. Please read our Product Safety & Correct Use notice before first use.
6. Hearing protection — important use conditions
Our products are personal hearing protection. They reduce noise exposure; they do not eliminate risk. You are responsible for selecting protection appropriate to the noise levels you are exposed to, for fitting and maintaining it correctly, and for complying with any workplace regulations or risk assessments that apply to you.
Our products are not medical devices, are not hearing aids, and are not a substitute for professional occupational health advice or a workplace noise risk assessment.
7. Shipping, returns and the 90-Day Trial
Delivery timescales, cancellation rights and refund procedures are set out in our Shipping & Returns policy. Our voluntary performance guarantee and its conditions are set out in our 90-Day Trial policy. Both form part of these terms.
8. Intellectual property
All content on this site — including the DEISTORM name and marks, text, photography, video, graphics and page design — is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property law. You may view and print content for personal, non-commercial use. Any other reproduction, distribution or commercial use requires our written permission.
9. Reviews and submitted content
If you submit a review, photograph or other content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce and display it in connection with our business. You confirm the content is your own, accurate, and does not infringe anyone else's rights. We may remove content that is unlawful, misleading or abusive.
10. Third-party links
Where we link to third-party sites, we do so for convenience. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, products or privacy practices.
11. Our liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable at the time the contract was formed, for losses arising from your failure to fit, use or maintain a product in accordance with its instructions, or for business losses where you use a product for commercial purposes. Our total liability in connection with any order will not exceed the amount you paid for that order.
12. Events outside our control
We are not liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including carrier disruption, extreme weather, industrial action, supply failures, or acts of government. We'll tell you as soon as we can and, where a delay is substantial, you may cancel affected undispatched items for a full refund.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force at the time you place an order is the version that applies to that order.
14. Complaints
If something has gone wrong, email SUPPORT@DEISTORM.COM with your order number and we will acknowledge within 2 business days and aim to resolve within 14 days.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Scotland, and disputes fall to the courts of Scotland. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK or the EU, you retain the benefit of any mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence.
